Coventry City still want sacked Newcastle United manager Chris Hughton.
The People says the Sky Blues will leave Andy Thorn in charge for the rest of the season before turning to Hughton in the summer.
Former Newcastle boss Hughton tops the Sky Blues' list of replacements for Aidy Boothroyd, who was sacked last Monday.
Roberto Di Matteo is also on the shortlist at the Ricoh Arena but, barring any 11th-hour changes, Hughton will get the nod.
