Ex-Nantes, Grenoble, Red Star midfielder joins Sydney FC

Sydney FC have signed Serbian midfielder Milos Dimitrijevic for the remainder of the A-League season.

The 29-year old has joined the Sky Blues following a two-week training spell after last playing with Red Star Belgrade in May 2013.

"It's an honour for me to come to Australia and play for the country's biggest club," he said.

"I have settled in very easily having Nikola (Petkovic) and Ranko (Despotovic) here and it's helpful that a lot of the other players speak my language too.

"But everyone has helped me feel comfortable and hopefully this will help me play well from the start. I want to help the club do something special this season."

Previously, the former France and Serbia youth international has spent time with French clubs Nantes and Grenoble, Serbian side FK Rad and Italian outfit Chievo Verona.
