Ex-Monchengladbach, Cologne ace Broich lands trio of Brisbane Roar awards

Thomas Broich has been named the Brisbane Roar Player of the Year for the 2013/14 A-League season.

The 33-year old German midfielder has landed the Gary Wilkins Medal for the third time in four years which follows on from his second Johnny Warren Medal as the A-League's best player.

Broich was also named the Roar members' player of the year and the players' player of the year to go with his Joe Marston Medal which he won for best afield in the Grand Final triumph, which he shared with Western Sydney Wanderers midfielder Iacopo La Rocca.

Former Borussia Monchengladbach and FC Cologne midfielder Broich, who landed in Brisbane from FC Nurnberg in 2010, has won two A-League premierships, three A-League championships, two Johnny Warren Medals, three Gary Wilkins Medals and was named the A-League Foreign Player of the Year in 2011/12 making him the most decorated A-League player in history.
