Kevin Thomson says he spurned interest from clubs in England to sign a one-year contract with Hibernian.
The 28-year old midfielder joined Hibs on a non-contract basis last season after ending his time with Middlesbrough in January and has now signed a 12-month deal with the Edinburgh club despite interest from south of the border.
"There were offers on the table from clubs down south but I knocked them back because I had my mind set on staying with Hibs," he told the Sunday Mail.
