Former Olympique Marseille star Roger Magnusson says Ligue 1's profile has been hit by Zlatan Ibrahimovic's departure.

Ibrahimovic quit PSG for Manchester United last summer.

Magnusson told La Provence: "If I am watching Ligue 1? Yes, but since the departure of Zlatan, Ligue 1 is less broadcast in Sweden. So I often fall back on the internet, I read La Provence and L'Equipe to follow French football.

"It is not Durmaz and Toivonen in Toulouse that can arouse the same interest in Sweden. With Ibrahimovic, it's night and day."
