Former Olympique Marseille star Manuel Amoros says the club should ignore Crystal Palace goalkeeper Steve Mandanda.

Mandanda is in talks with OM about returning to the French giants this summer.

Amoros told La Provence: "The club's plan is to be ambitious.

"To return to the goalkeeper's position, we could aim for a keeper a little younger and promising.

"Obviously, Steve Mandanda was really very good at OM. But we have to bet on someone who embodies the future, not on a player who is likely to stop in two years."
