Former Olympique Marseille coach Rolland Courbis can understand Zinedine Zidane's anger over the weekend.

The Real Madrid coach angrily hit out at claims of "robbery" in the aftermath of their controversial Champions League triumph over Juventus.

Courbis can understand Zidane's fury regarding the word "robbery".

The Frenchman explained: "Yes I understand, we will not play on words. It's not the fact of challenging this penalty, that's everybody's doing it. It happened at the last minute of an extraordinary return match.

"It's the word 'steal' that does not suit him. At the limit if people said 'Juventus may feel aggrieved', I do not know if it would trigger the same reaction from Zidane."
