Ex-Man Utd youngster Brandy joins Crewe from Rotherham

Crewe Alexandra have confirmed the loan signing of Febian Brandy from Rotherham United.

The League One club have brought in the 25-year old winger on a one-month emergency loan from the Championship outfit.

Former Manchester United youngster Brandy was struggling for game time with Rotherham and will now get the chance for regular first team action at Gresty Road.

"After a number of enquiries from managers in League One I can confirm that Febian Brandy has joined Crewe Alexandra for one month on loan," Rotherham boss Steve Evans told the club's official website.

"I would like to make it clear that in my opinion this young man still has a bright future at New York Stadium but it is very clear that he now needs a run of matches at first-team level, that will in turn prepare him for the demands of the Championship.

"He has got himself in fantastic condition and now needs competitive action; he goes with our good wishes and will return in four to five weeks."
