Former Manchester United winger Gyliano Van Velzen has been snapped up by FC Volendam.

Van Velzen moves to Volendam from FC Utrecht, where he spent last season.

Van Velzen left Ajax academy at 16 years of age to join Manchester United. But the attacker failed to make a mark in England and returned to Holland last summer.

His contract with Utrecht runs to 2016 and it's not yet been confirmed whether his move to Volendam is on-loan or a permanent transfer.
