Former Manchester United and Aston Villa boss Ron Atkinson is set to take part in Celebrity Big Brother.

The 74-year-old is likely to pocket a fee in excess of £100,000 to appear on the Channel 5 show later this year, according to The Sun.

A source told the newspaper: "Big Ron wants viewers to see a different side of him, but he will bring controversy because of who he is."

The likes of Neil 'Razor' Ruddock and Gareth Thomas have both appeared in the show before.
