Former Manchester United U18 coach Paul McGuinness is backing their move for Paul Pogba.

The Juventus midfielder is on the brink of returning to his former club.

"He's still developing," McGuinness told Sky Sports. "Everyone thinks he has to be the finished article but he's only 23. There are things to work on but the potential is massive. He's fantastic physically and has incredible skills.

"The likes of Zinedine Zidane didn't become a real force until later on. You have to find your whole game. He's already there at the top but there's also the prospect of what he could become if he carries on working hard. He really could become a special player."
