Former Manchester United striker Joe Jordan is delighted for David Moyes over the manager's job.
Jordan is first-team coach at QPR and has a great deal of respect for his fellow countryman's work at Everton over the past decade.
"You can have a bit of banter about him being a Scot as United, in the past, have been associated with great Scottish managers," he told manutd.com. "But I think he's earned his passage to manage United.
"I think it's a great appointment. Not just because he's Scottish. I think he will give every hour there is in the day to continue to do what's right, what he thinks is right, to keep Manchester United where they have been and hopefully continue that success."
