Former Manchester United striker Dion Dublin believes Louis van Gaal is instilling fresh self-belief into the current squad.
Dublin believes under Van Gaal's command they will return to Champions League by virtue of a top four place - and he has not ruled out a title bid yet.
"I look at the body language of the players," he told the Daily Express. "They all want the ball, their chins are up, their confidence is back. They have turned the corner and I think they will go from strength to strength.
"But they could do with a strong leader in the back four in the mould of a Gary Pallister or Jaap Stam."
