LA Galaxy's David Beckham has heaped praise on Liverpool striker Luis Suarez following his performance yesterday.
The Uruguayan scored an equaliser in the Reds' 1-1 draw with Newcastle United when he controlled a long pass on his shoulder before rounding Tim Krul and the brilliance of the goal was not lost on former Manchester United midfielder Beckham.
"It was exceptional, to score a goal like that. The way he brought the ball down, everything about it was amazing. It was amazing to watch it," he told reporters.
"I'm a Manchester United fan, and I don't like to say that about Liverpool players, but all jokes aside his first touch was incredible, his second touch was even better and it was an amazing finish.
"He's a great player, he's capable of doing those things week in and week out."
