David Beckham says it is refreshing to be expecting the arrival of a girl after he and wife Victoria produced three sons.
The Beckham's will welcome their fourth child into the world today when Victoria undergoes a caesarean and David is delighted to be having a daughter for the first time.
"It's a whole new different thing for us. To have so much pink in the house, lilac in the house, and dresses. All the clothes are ready, the room's ready. We're really excited," he said.
And the date of July 4 is a very important in the lives of the Beckhams.
"Obviously we got married on July 4, 12 years ago, Monday, so it's a special day for us, it always has been and always will be," he added.
