LA Galaxy star David Beckham has backed Juergen Klinsmann to do well in his new role as USA national team manager. The former Manchester United, Real Madrid and AC Milan midfielder believes the ex-Tottenham, Inter Milan and Bayern Munich striker will demand respect from the US players whilst using his experience as a World Cup star to the benefit of the team.
"I think he's got the experience. He'll have the respect from the players," Beckham said.
"I'm sure if there's any problems throughout the team, there won't be any more because he's a strong manager, a strong personality.
"And he's a manager and a player who has done everything in a soccer player's career."
