Blackburn Rovers managing director Derek Shaw has revealed that Henning Berg has agreed to become the clubs new manager.
The 43-year old Norwegian, who has previously played for Manchester United, Rovers and Rangers, will be unveiled on Thursday morning as the Ewood Park club finally find a replacement for the departed Steve Kean.
"He interviewed well and he moved straight to the top of our list," said Shaw.
Berg has been managerial experience with homeland clubs FC Lyn Oslo and Lillestrom and will now take charge at Blackburn who sit fifth on the Championship table after 13 matches.
