Ex-Man Utd, Rangers midfielder Djordjic joins Blackpool

Blackpool have secured the services of Swedish midfielder Bojan Djordjic on a free transfer.

The 29-year old, who has had past stints with Manchester United, Rangers and Plymouth Argyle among others, has signed a two-year deal with the relegated Seasiders and is looking forward to again showing the English football community what he is capable of.

"It feels good to be back," the former Videoton man told the club's official website.

"I moved here for the first time in 1999 to join Manchester United and when I left in 2007 from Plymouth - when I was there with Ollie - my plan and goal was always to come back to England. For me it is the number one footballing country in the world.

"I'm really looking forward to this because I'm not 17 anymore, I'm 29 and this is probably my last chance to make it big and show that the talent that was there is still there.

"I don't want to let any people down who have believed in me and I'm really grateful for this chance, especially to Ollie."
