Blackpool manager Paul Ince is being linked with the vacancy at Sheffield Wednesday according to Sky Sports.
The 46-year old took the reins at Bloomfield Road in February this year and has guided the Seasiders into the top six in the Championship since arriving.
It is believed that the former Manchester United and Liverpool midfielder was being eyed by Middlesbrough before they appointed Aitor Karanka and is now attracting attention from Wednesday following the sacking of Dave Jones on the weekend.
The Owls, who are being looked after by caretaker manager Stuart Gray, currently sit second bottom on the Championship table.
