Former Manchester United goalkeeper Rai van der Gouw is surprised David Moyes has axed keeper coach Eric Steele.

Moyes chose to bring Chris Woods with him from Everton.

"It surprised me because I would expect that the new manager would have kept Eric Steele," van der Gouw told the Manchester Evening News.

"David Moyes will have his own ideas about how he wants it. He's changed a few people at the club."
