Sunderland boss Roy Keane is set to add his former Manchester United teammate Raimond van der Gouw to his coaching staff.

Van der Gouw has hung up his keeper gloves after playing out last season with AGOVV, which wanted him to go around for the new term.

However, Sunderland's offer convinced the Dutchman to retire and jump immediately into coaching for the coming Premiership season.
