Ex-Man Utd keeper Valdes drops Middlesbrough hint

Released Manchester United goalkeeper Victor Valdes has hinted at a move to Middlesbrough.

Valdes, 34, joined United as a free agent in January 2015 as back-up to David de Gea but made just two appearances before being loaned out to Belgian side Standard Liege.

He was released in June but could remain a Premier League player.

Valdes has fuelled speculation by following Middlesbrough on Twitter - the only other teams he follows are his former employers Manchester United and Barcelona, says the Daily Star.
