Former Manchester United goalkeeper Roy Carroll is eyeing a Premier League return.
Carroll draws inspiration from Edwin van der Sar, who played until he was 40 at Manchester United before his retirement at the end of last season.
He said: "If you look at Edwin van der Sar, when he first moved to United he was 34 and I think he proves that goalkeepers realise more what they have to do when they get older to maintain your form.
"He showed just how good you can be at that age by winning a lot of trophies during his time at Old Trafford including the Champions League and Premier League."
