Mikael Silvestre has returned to Arsenal.

The 35-year-old French defender is a free agent after leaving Werder Bremen and is looking to return to playing in England, says the Daily Mail.

Silvestre joined Manchester United from Inter Milan in 1999 and made 249 appearances before spending two seasons at Arsenal, leaving in 2010.
