Former Manchester United defender John O'Shea is set to retire from football at the end of the season.
O'Shea is currently part of the Sunderland squad that is struggling to remain in the Championship. The player will hang up his boots when the season ends.
The 36-year-old defender enjoyed a storied career with United, winning practically every trophy while at Old Trafford. He eventually moved to Sunderland in 2011 and has spent the past seven seasons at the club.
O'Shea managed over 400 Premier League appearances, and could have reached the 500 mark had Sunderland not been relegated.
