Former Manchester United defender Kevin Moran is a big fan of Chelsea ace Gary Cahill.
Moran believes United and Manchester City must be kicking themselves letting Cahill leave Bolton Wanderers for Chelsea.
He wrote in the Sunday World: "Over the last two seasons, he has matured into a fine player, giving the club a rock-solid pairing at the heart of their defence.
"The two Manchester clubs must be looking at Cahill and wondering how they missed him playing on their doorstep at Bolton Wanderers.
"With Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic coming towards the end of their careers when Cahill was at Bolton, I cannot fathom how Manchester United did not get in there for him.
"Chelsea signed Cahill for £7million, a pittance now for a top-notch defender. His top form allowed the London club to sell on Brazilian David Luiz for £50million last summer - I know who got the better of that deal."
