Released Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand is keen on a move to Tottenham. The Daily Mail says Aston Villa have held informal talks with Ferdinand's representatives but will not be pursuing a move for the 35-year-old.
Ferdinand has moved his family to London and it is reported that Tottenham are his preferred club, although he also has interest from QPR, Crystal Palace, West Ham, Galatasaray and LA Galaxy.
