Former Manchester United defender Henning Berg wants Michael Keane and Tom Thorpe to move out on-loan next season.

Keane spent last season on-loan at Leicester City.

"Both Keane and Thorpe definitely have a chance, there's no doubt about that," Berg told the Manchester Evening News.

"You'd like to see them play against first-team players and possibly go out on loan again.

"They're comfortable defensively and on the ball while having the right mentality. That is so important when you play for United."
