Former Manchester United assistant coach Mike Phelan has hit out at Paul Pogba and agent Mino Raiola after this morning's social media ruck.
Raiola took to Twitter to blast Paul Scholes after the Old Trafford icon criticised Pogba's performance in the 3-2 defeat at Brighton on Sunday.
But Phelan, who worked as Sir Alex Ferguson's first-team coach and assistant, immediately condemned Raiola's words.
“There was a time when a player's ability, consistency, attitude, record and application generated transfer activity," he replied.
Pogba has been linked with a move away from Manchester United as a result of his bust-up with Jose Mourinho.
