Former Manchester United coach Rene Meulensteen is being linked with a move to MLS.
The London Evening Standard says Meulensteen is on the shortlist for the manager's job at MLS side Philadelphia Union.
The former Fulham boss has been out of work since leaving Craven Cottage in February.
Philadelphia Union CEO Nick Sakiewicz said: "He is amongst a small group of candidates that I regard very highly for the position, but no decision has been made."
Union will not make an appointment until next week at the earliest.
