Former Manchester United coach Rene Meulensteen has confirmed he's accepted the role of Technical Director at the Qatar Football Association.
The Dutchman chose the Middle Eastern post ahead of an offer from Fulham.
"My new job will be Technical Director of the Qatar FA," Meulensteen wrote on Twitter. "A venture I have given much thought to. Thanks again for your support and kind words."
