Former Manchester United captain Paul Ince has questioned the methods of manager Louis van Gaal.
Ince has accused Van Gaal of being inflexible.
He said: “Louis Van Gaal has managed some fantastic teams but he's ingrained in Dutch methods. So when you look at how Manchester United are actually playing at the moment its square passes, lack pace in the side, and are not creating as many chances as they used to.
“At the same time he's been successful wherever he's gone and United are challenging for the Premier League title so it depends what you want. The result is more important than the performance and LVG is just one of those managers who is set in his ways. If he thinks that's the right thing to do then he'll do it no matter how much criticism he gets from the fans and press. It won't matter to him."
