Real Sociedad have confirmed that both David Moyes and Pepe Mel are candidates for the vacant managerial role.
The Spanish side are on the lookout for a new boss after sacking Jagoba Arrasate and it has since been confirmed that former Everton and Manchester United man Moyes, as well as ex-West Bromwich Albion manager Mel, are on the shortlist.
"It's true about Mel, it's true about Moyes, but we're also talking with more managers and maybe there will be more than that," Sociedad president Jokin Aperribay told EFE.
"We are talking with all that are on the shortlist and we want them to know how we operate, giving them knowledge of Real Sociedad, from the respect, to the philosophy and the youth academy.
"We really like the four, each with their own style, and there are some things that we really like a lot about them."
The Basque club currently sits second last in the Spanish La Liga with just one win from 10 matches.
