Former Manchester United assistant manager Carlos Queiroz has revealed he had interest from both Australia and Japan.
The 57-year old, who was recently removed from his post as Portugal national team coach, insists both Asian nations, as well as English Premier League club Fulham, were seeking his services when he was in the midst of losing his job.
Queiroz was sacked by the Portuguese Football Federation on the September 9 after Portugal's poor start to their Euro 2012 qualifying campaign, this coming after he received a one-month ban for tampering with drug testing procedures during the World Cup, but he admits that there were plenty of offers for him.
"I have had offers from Australia, Japan and Fulham, but I'm not preoccupied with my next job. I will wait until the right project is available," Queiroz said.
