Former Manchester United and Arsenal defender Mikael Silvestre is being linked with a return to England.

Silvestre has been released by the MLS's Portland Timbers.

"Since his departure from Portland, Mikael is of interest to many clubs," agent Gordon Reid told Sky Sports.

"We are currently in talks with several clubs from the United States and England."
