Greek club Olympiakos have confirmed the capture of Norwegian youngster Abdisalam Ibrahim.
The 22-year old Somalia-born midfielder was released by Manchester City earlier this week has signed a three-and-a-half-year deal with the Athens giants before being sent on loan to Ergotelis Crete for the rest of the season.
"Olympiakos announces the acquisition of Abdisalam Ibrahim for the next three-and-a-half years," said a statement on Olympiakos' official website.
Last season, Ibrahim spent time on loan with Stromsgodset to help them to their first Norwegian Tippeligaen title in 43 years.
