Former Manchester City striker Niall Quinn says the derby lacked intensity on Sunday.
City did just enough to see off ten-man Manchester United.
"It was a little bit nervy," Quinn told talkSPORT. "It wasn't your usually passionate derby where everyone just goes for it. It was very cagey.
"Manchester United started the game very well and the City fans, having come through three tough games, weren't in their usual voice.
"It wasn't subdued, but it wasn't the sharpest Manchester derby I've ever been at."
