Former Manchester City star Rodney Marsh has told Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand to retire from international football.
Marsh was impressed by Ferdinand's antics last week involving his England selection.
He told the Daily Star Sunday: "If Rio doesn't want to play for England they should dump him. They should play Steve Caulker. Let's see what he can do.
"If Rio doesn't want to play for England, that's fine. But why doesn't he do the honourable thing and just retire?"
