Lee Croft is set to return to Scotland according to Derby County manager Nigel Clough.

The 27-year old winger spent time on loan with St Johnstone last season and it appears he could be on his way back to McDiarmid Park on a season-long loan.

"It looks like Lee will be going back to Scotland," said Clough.

"It will probably be a season-long loan that gives us the option to call him back in January."

Croft kicked off his career with Manchester City in 2004 and has since spent time with Oldham Athletic, Norwich City and Huddersfield Town along with his Derby and St Johnstone stints.
