Canadian midfielder Terry Dunfield is finally back at home in Vancouver after about a decade in the UK.
The 28-year old left his home state at the age of 14 to join Manchester City's youth academy and since has enjoyed stints with City's senior squad as well as lower league clubs such as Bury, Worcester City, Macclesfield Tow and Shrewsbury Town before signing with USSF Division 2 outfit Vancouver Whitecaps.
Dunfield is one of 10 players the Whitecaps have signed in recent weeks and could not hid his excitement ahead of his first game on the weekend.
"I'm excited to show the fans and my teammates what I can do," Dunfield told The Province. "It will be a good test out there against the in-form team in the league (Austin Aztex). I'll try not to have a stinker."
