Colombian goalkeeper David Gonzalez is set to hold talks with clubs in North America according to reports.

The 30-year old former Manchester City gloveman is currently available on a free transfer after being released by Barnsley following a short spell which started in August.

Gonzalez, who has had previous stints in the UK with Leeds United, Brighton & Hove Albion and Aberdeen, is being linked with FC Dallas as well as a number of unnamed MLS clubs.
