Ex-Man City keeper backing Pontus Dahlberg for Watford success

IFK Gothenburg goalkeeper Pontus Dahlberg is being backed for big things at Watford.

The young Swede signed for the Hornets last season and is officially moving to England this summer.

Former Manchester City keeper Andreas Isaksson, now playing for DIF, had a word with the teen after last weekend's 3-1 defeat.

"I said only good luck, and he makes the future for himself. He has the future ahead of himself, it is quite the opposite to me haha ... No, but it's fun to see, he seems to be a winner and will certainly go a long way in his career," Isaksson told Sportbladet.

"It was more than I did (at that age), so I was in Juventus then. So he is ahead of me and I think that in a few years he will certainly be in the national team."
