Lazio signing Javier Garrido is pleased with his move from Manchester City.
He replaces Serbia international Aleksandar Kolarov who moved the other way, albeit in an unrelated deal.
"It was time for a new experience and Lazio have done great things in Italy and in Europe," Garrido said.
"I feel important to their project. I signed for five years. I am a left-back, my priority is not to leave space to the opponents. Then if I can, I don't mind pushing forward in attack.
"I believe I am generous. I never hold back that's for sure."
