Ex-Man City defender Vidal in talks with Hibernian

Free agent Javan Vidal says he is keen to return to the English Premier League despite being in talks with Scottish club Hibernian.

The 22-year old full-back is currently a free agent after his contract with Manchester City expired last season and is in discussions with Hibs, Turkish outfit Denizlispor and some League One clubs.

But Vidal, who has previously had loans with Grimsby Town, Aberdeen, Derby County and Chesterfield, is setting his sights on a Premier League return.

"Manchester City was always a big club, but it has changed a lot over the past couple of seasons," he told skysports.com.

"Not playing regularly there has given me that extra drive to find a new club and show what I can do when given the chance to play regular football.

"Hopefully I can do just that and one day get back into the Premier League because that is where everyone wants to play during their career."
