Former Manchester City and Everton defender Joleon Lescott could've extended his career in Sweden.

Lescott, 35, left Sunderland last season and is still clubless.

However, fotbolldirekt.se says Hammarby were keen to bring him to the Allsvenskan.

The ex-England international was offered to Hammarby at the beginning of August.

"Eh... I do not really remember. Ah, it did not matter, as it seems right now. Or, no, I have no comment," said sports director Jesper Jansson.
