Roberto Mancini is believed to be considering the vacant position at Turkish club Galatasaray.
The Istanbul-based outfit sacked Fatih Terim on Wednesday and are in the market for a new manager with former Manchester City boss Mancini in the running.
Angelo Gregucci, who served as City's technical director during Mancini's tenure at Eastlands, suggests the Italian may be pondering the possibility of taking the role but was quick to play down speculation that he had been offered the job.
"I don't know anything about an offer from Galatasaray," Gregucci said.
"However, if you're going to ask me if we would work in Turkey then it would depend on the offer.
"We are all professionals, Mancini has achieved successes at Fiorentina and Manchester City but I haven't been in talks with anyone from Galatasaray."
