Roberto Mancini has opened talks with Galatasaray regarding their managerial vacancy.

The Italian has been out of work since he was sacked by Manchester City in May and is now in the running to replace Fatih Terim at the Turk Telekom Arena.

Galatasaray's Twitter page showed a picture of Mancini with President and Chief Executive Officer Maurice Unal Ar?bo?an.
