Former Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has weighed into the debate around AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli.

Balotelli has been banned for three games for a post-game bust-up with the ref after defeat to Napoli.

Mancini told Gazzetta dello Sport: "Mario, you have to endure him. But if Milan want to enjoy him, they must make him their cause.

"The defenders try to wind him up, Balotelli must break the cycle of trying to resist.

"Technically he's super."
