Former Lazio and Manchester City boss Sven Goran Eriksson denies he's in talks with Fiorentina.

Eriksson has been linked with the Viola job after Delio Rossi's sacking.

"I am always tied to this splendid city. My son lives here and I came to visit. I'm here on vacation and not for talks with Fiorentina," the Swede told the Corriere Fiorentino newspaper.

"The team is going through a bad campaign, but the Viola will be safe from the drop. Of that I am convinced.

"As for finding their new Coach, Fiorentina will do that calmly and not rush the decision."
