Former Manchester City midfielder Didi Hamann believes Manuel Pellegrini's job is on the line tonight.
City go to Barcelona needing to overturn a 2-1 deficit to reach the Champions League quarterfinals.
It's suggested Pellegrini will be shown the door if City fall short again in Europe this season.
"That would not surprise me. If they are eliminated on Wednesday by Barcelona in the Champions League, they can no longer win a trophy," said Hamann.
